“The crew at HSO and all the people they brought to work on our house were fantastic. Having been through a major renovation before, I can say that this experience was much smoother, despite the fact that we live four hours away and couldn’t check in on the work regularly. First, the communication from our project manager and the team was fantastic. We got regular updates on the work either through email or often through videos they made and sent us. There were very few surprises or changes in scope, and the regular invoices and project cost estimate updates were really transparent and clear. And, of course, we were very happy with the quality of the work. Everyone cared about getting things right and doing a good job, taking care of the home, and it all shows in the results. They also really listened to what we wanted from a design perspective and weren’t pushing things that didn’t fit with our vision, which was critical. We did a new kitchen, deck, outdoor shower, new floors and a few smaller items as well. When we need more work done, we will be calling HSO again without hesitation.”
